The development in use of plastic piping materials in the building sector has been significant with a consistant increase during the previous decade. In line with this development, we proudly put on record that our organisation pioneered the introduction of PE piping systems and the electrofusion welding in the late 80’s in Mauritius.

The reliability of the inside/outside building application coupled with the lightweight characteristics of plastics eases handling/installation on site. Additionally the user friendliness of their jointing systems quickly won the confidence of all players in the building construction industry. The local Water Authority readily adopted the PE piping systems for an increase number of its piping project over the Island and in Rodrigues as well.
